Features, Features, Features!

On Friday, I was super stoked to find Aroha Silhouettes featured on Design Milk . I've been checking out Design Milk for ages, dreaming that someday they would have a reason to write about me. It doesn't get much better than being featured on their site. Jamie even made Aroha Silhouettes a holiday jewellery pick for their online holiday shopping guide!

Trend hunter, the world's largest community dedicated to trend spotting and cool hunting discovered Aroha Silhouettes and described the Phantasmal collection as 'not only some of the coolest and stylish eco-conscious pieces, they have an otherworldly quality, something like a tattoo almost'.

Yipeeee, I can't get enough of these great reviews! They make me cheesy happy.

Lists, Lists And More Lists

Things have gotten a little crazy here at Aroha Silhouettes in the last week and my weekly to do lists have turned into daily to do lists. It's awesome!

I got another amazing write up on one of my favourite blogs, Kingdom of Style. The lovely Queen Michelle wrote 'There are a lot of silhouette style jewellery out there but this is my favourite so far'. It totally blew me away when I read that first thing on a Monday morning!

Later in the week I started getting a whole lot of orders coming one after another after another and I had no where near where they were all coming from. It wasn't until that evening I discovered that Aroha Silhouettes had appeared on Mind Hacks and what they wrote totally cracked me up - 'How often will you ever have the opportunity to use the line "No honey, I wasn't staring at your breasts, I was marvelling at how a relatively simple collection of edges can demonstrate the conflicting constraints of the visual perceptual system.' Hahaha, classic! And rather true.

Feeling The Blogging Love

All week long my google alerts have been popping up to greet me in the morning and giving me a lunchtime surprises at work. Big thanks to Daily Art Muse, Keep Left London, Hovering Cat, The Modern Materialist, The Trendy Girl (in french oo la la!), Art Is Love and Studio Home Creative for featuring Aroha Silhouettes and helping spread the word!

The latest addition to the Phantasmal collection is the mini hardcover necklace, a smaller and more dainty version of the large hardcover necklace.
