The Aggregate Collar Necklace - A Bold Statement Piece By Aroha Silhouettes

Last year I randomly decided I wanted to tackle a BIG piece after putting out so many small molecule designs. After a gazillion hand cut paper pieces I had the final designed nailed down and ready to go!

The statement Aggregate Collar Necklace is for those out there that like to go big and bold with their jewellery! Up close the individual cubes give the illusion of being three dimensional and from further away the collar design takes shape. Looks great with a collared shirt or a simple top.

It's made from two individual pieces of lightweight stainless steel that have been finished in a matte black powder coating and then joined with gunmetal chain and findings. Check it out in the Aroha Silhouettes online store here.


The photoshoot for this piece was extra awesome because for the first time I took the photos! And edited them all by myself too. Pretty stoked with how they turned out considering. Siri was the first model I ever worked with back in 2009 and it's always great to work with her! Dina Day came along too and did an great job on the hair and makeup. It was really nice to do a shoot with just three people!
